In February 2024, Geraldine was an artist in residence at Lloyd's Inn Kulala Lumpur, during which she embarked on a mural painting commission for the latest Lloyd's Inn's boutique hotel situated in the bustling city of Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
Located in the Opeum Bistro of Lloyd's Inn KL, the mural titled 'Stroll the Forest Trail' consists of a neutral-themed, enlarged painting of seeds and pods, unassuming botanical elements that are often overshadowed by their fancier flower counterparts, yet uniquely interesting in shapes and textures. The mural was inspired by the parallels between the minimalist design concept of Lloyd's Inn; a clean and calm state yet rich in subtle and tasteful interior detail, a hidden retreat amidst the city bustle.
'Stroll the Forest Trail' was adapted as red packet designs exclusively for Lloyd's Inn customers during the Chinese New Year period from January to February 2025
