Yishun Glen

Design consultation and styling of a 5-room BTO flat in Yishun for a young family of three. Our work included design conceptualizing, colour and material selection, electrical and lighting planning, and shopping and selection of fittings, furniture, and furnishings with the homeowners. Renovation and contracting works were executed by another firm.

The couple wanted a quirky and eclectic home design that incorporated colours and patterns to reflect their fun personalities - keeping a predominantly warm scheme of off-white and light wood as the base canvas of the home, pops of colour were worked into the home in the form of a painted terracotta orange ceiling, an ochre wrapped entryway, and bits of blue and green as contrasting colours in the choice of furnishings.

Black accents and fittings are seen scattered across the home for consistency, and colours are zoned within spaces to keep colour play controlled and tasteful. The home also features fun accent lighting in corners, and plenty of the family's selected photographs and art prints displayed to add personal character to the home.
